Family, to me, represents a commitment to each other's growth and well-being. We aim to instill values such as GRIT, PASSION, and ACCOUNTABILITY in our players, pushing them beyond their limits physically and mentally. Through these pillars, we foster a culture of hard work, determination, and integrity, which are essential not only on the field but also in life beyond football.

 

My coaching philosophy exposes young men to the technical skills necessary for football success, as well as accountability, time management, and adversity. Every athlete in our program is treated with respect, class, and dignity, fostering a safe environment for growth.

 

Several of my players have played football at the college level, with one currently in the NFL. More importantly, these young men becoming successful professionals, husbands, fathers, and giving back to society, is the real victory. These accomplishments are only possible if education is the #1 priority. I am a lifelong learner, with my nursing career beginning at the associate degree level. After establishing a firm practical foundation in emergency medicine, I returned to school to expand my expertise by obtaining a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Michigan-Flint. While employed in an administrative role at Henry Ford Health System, I enrolled at Michigan State University, Eli Broad Business School, to acquire my master’s degree in Management, Strategy, and Leadership.

Where have I been throughout my 23 years of coaching?

 

I have coached at 4 different high schools. I have been lucky to part of great program that have experienced successes.

• 2 Catholic League Championships.

 

47 Defensive players have continued football careers at colleges such as Michigan, Michigan State, Penn, Duke, Morehouse, CMU, WMU, Saginaw Valley State, Wayne State, Hope, Albion, etc. 1 Defensive player in the NFL.
